People of the Rio Grande Valley Border Towns: Marisol Roten. Marisol, a Mother of 3, and I have a conversation about her experiences growing up in the Rio Grande Valley. The experience of growing up without her biological father, having children, her love for her husband, and pride for her family. We talk about her life and the process of obtaining permanent residency to eventually obtaining U.S. citizenship. Marisol speaks proudly about her brother and her calling to do good in her life.
